Tour Overview

Traveling from Cairo to Siwa Oasis is an adventurous journey into the heart of the Western Desert. Because the drive is significant (approximately 8–10 hours each way), a 3-night itinerary allows you to balance the travel time with enough leisure to enjoy the unique culture, landscapes, and serenity of the oasis.

Itinerary

expand_more

Morning: Early departure from Cairo (typically 6:00–7:00 AM) to beat the traffic. You will head west toward the coastal city of Marsa Matrouh. Afternoon: Stop in Marsa Matrouh for lunch and a short break by the Mediterranean Sea. Late Afternoon: Drive south into the desert toward Siwa. Watch the landscape transform from coastal Mediterranean to rugged desert. Evening: Arrive in Siwa, check into your ecolodge, and have a traditional dinner. Get some rest after the long drive.

Time Day 2

Exploring Ancient Siwa

Time Day 3

The Great Sand Sea Adventure

Evening: Enjoy a Bedouin-style dinner in the desert with tea and music under the stars.
